As individuals we experience life separately, yet jointly as a united whole.  Although we have heard the sages and saints insist that we are all one, the majority of us fail to see that we stand as one: as one, alone, and as one, together.  Here and now an opportunity to touch one another, to give of ourself whether loathsome or uplifting. Together we shall rise or together we shall fall based on our actions in this moment.    

If someone gave you a choice to buy this Prada bag or provide micro-loans to six clients, helping to rescue their families from a lifetime of poverty, which would you choose? 

By spending money differently we can start to consciously resist the overpowering current of mainstream societal values, making truly rich choices, rather than perceived ones. Through In Poor Taste, the pictures will help us to see that we have a responsibility to challenge our notions of wealth, and what that means in different contexts.  Do we really need another bag, or could that money be used more wisely?
